Why did you choose to go into this industry?

I’ve always been a massive sports fan, and was very lucky to experience working in sports-related roles straight out of university. From there I’ve always been attracted to roles working with top quality product and good people, so working at STATSports really appealed to me.

David Tweed, Head of Marketing

Committed to supporting you

As well as a competitive starting salaries, we’re always looking at ways to make our employees ‘work life’ a positive one.

YAYA day

When YAYA Toure turned 31, it's rumoured Manchester City failed to meaningfully acknowledge his birthday. Toure was so upset, he wanted to leave the club. Because nobody should ever feel like YAYA did, all STATSports employees get their birthday off.

Hybrid working

We want all of our people to truly achieve work-life balance, that’s why we have adopted a hybrid working approach. This means you have days in the office with your team catching up over a coffee, but you also have days in your week working from home.

Culture club

Regular activities take place for STATSports employees to meet up with colleagues from across the company. You can expect things like BBQs, scavenger hunts, quizzes, hikes and lots more. We also might be partial to some karaoke… you’ve been semi-warned.

Family Benefits

Family is important and we want to make sure you can have a family and a career without either suffering. Our Maternity & Paternity plans provide you with more time for the things that matter. We also provide a range of adoption and related parental leave.

Flexible holidays

We offer 31 days annual leave and the freedom to choose when you want to take them. We understand that not everyone wants to take public holidays on the designated day, so if you’d like to save those days and take them throughout the year you can.

Health & Wellbeing

We provide generous schemes including pension, life cover, critical illness and income protection cover. Yes, we look after the really important stuff too.

Our Story

Founded in 2008 by Alan Clarke and Sean O'Connor, our advanced performance wearable technology has disrupted the sports technology industry to become the go-to player monitoring tool for some of the world’s most well known sports teams.

Our technology is now an integral part in helping more than 800 elite teams across multiple sports - including soccer, American football, rugby, GAA, baseball and basketball - reach their peak performance.

A long way from our humble beginnings, we now have office locations across the globe including the UK, USA and Australia where our 140+ STATSports employees all have an opportunity to demonstrate their talents and excel in an encouraging environment and culture.

What is the most interesting aspect of your job?

There are different opportunities for growth. During my time working in customer services, I have been able to expand and develop my knowledge on GPS technology. This experience has enabled me to dip into different areas within the business, e.g., USYS Account Management and Pre-Sales.

Jessica Kimmins, Customer Support Representative

How would you summarise what you do at STATSports?

I oversee the workflow of our creative studio; receiving briefs from all departments and managing the production process. The STATSports brand is brought to life by a team of videographers, photographers and graphic designers, while the media production team creates content for all STATSports collateral and marketing campaigns.

Aidan O'Hare, Creative Content Manager

What do you look forward to in your role?

Getting the opportunity to shoot with our ambassadors and players at the top of their game is always something I’ve found to be unique to working at STATSports.
