Apex Athlete Series 1 Year warranty

 

The Apex Athlete Series Warranty is in addition to rights provided by consumer law. If a product is defective consumers may, in addition to any other rights which they may have under consumer law in the UK, avail themselves of the rights contained in The Consumer Rights Act 2015. When you purchase STATSports hardware products, you will also receive coverage from the STATSports Product Limited Warranty. Our warranty doesn’t cover damage caused by accidents or unauthorized modifications. See the warranty for complete details.

 

Your STATSports Apex Athlete Series Pod is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original retail purchase (“Warranty Period”) when used in accordance with STATSports Apex Athlete Series user guide.

 

Within this Warranty Period,  STATSports will repair or replace any components that fail in normal use. This Limited Warranty does not apply to:

 

  1. cosmetic damage, such as scratches, nicks and to plastic surfaces and all other externally exposed parts that are due to normal wear and tear of equipment and normal customer use;
  2. consumable parts, such as the charging cable, unless product damage has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship;
  3. defects or damage caused by accident, abuse or misuse howsoever caused, water, flood, fire, or other acts of nature or external causes;
  4. defects or damage caused by service performed by anyone who is not an authorised service provider of STATSports, unauthorised disassembly, repair, alteration or modifications being carried out;
  5. defects or damage to a product that has been connected to data cables that are not supplied by STATSports or the use of wrong voltage;
  6. defects or damages due to the equipment being used other than in a normal and customary manner.


If a defect arises during the Warranty Period, the following options apply:

 

  1. Return the Apex Athlete Series Pod Unit to STATSports for repair with new or remanufactured parts. Such repairs or replacement will be made at no charge to the customer for parts or labor.
  2. Exchange the Apex Athlete Series Pod Unit on agreement with STATSports Customer Service at athleteseries@statsports.com.
  3. Complete/or Partial Refund for Apex Athlete Series Pod (the Apex Vest is excluded in this refund).

 

Proof of purchase will be required to verify eligibility.

 

Service options, parts availability and response times will vary according to country.

 

The STATSports Apex Vest is not covered under this or any warranty.

 

The STATSports Apex Baselayer is not covered under this or any warranty.

 

STATSports does not warrant, represent or undertake that it will be able to repair or replace any Product under this warranty without risk to and/or loss of information and/or data stored on the Product.  In no event shall STATSports be liable for (a) loss or damage, which as of the product’s purchase cannot be regarded as being caused by STATSports’ breach of these warranty terms; or (b) losses caused by the user’s fault, loss of data or loss of profits or benefits.

 

Any limitations of liability in this warranty document shall not apply to (i) death or personal injury pursuant to any mandatory law on product liability; (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (iii) intentional misconduct or gross negligence; (iv) or a culpable breach of major contractual obligations.  A damages claim based on a breach of major contractual obligations or gross negligence will be limited to foreseeable damage typical for the sale contract concerned.

 

STATSports will provide warranty service through:

 

Mail-in service. If STATSports determines that your Product is eligible for mail-in service, STATSports will send you instructions potentially from a third party courier, so that you may ship your Product to the STATSports Repair Service (“SSRS”) location. STATSports will pay for shipping from and to your location if instructions regarding the method of packaging and shipping the Product are followed and when agreed by STATSports Customer Services. The returns packaging is a strong box with adequate padding to hold the Apex Athlete Series Pod and USB Micro Charger Cable in place.
