Viper Live Streaming Software is the intuitive software package as part of the Viper system that allows you to monitor individual and team performance in real-time during as its happening, giving you the ability to make decisions based on objective data whether or not to increase or decrease training intensity.

Step Balance

Step Balance

Using the 100 Hz tri-axial accelerometer data we can determine the impacts experienced through the left and right feet of the players. This allows us to determine load distribution of the player. This is presented in pie chart format (See image) and is expressed as a percentage. Once a base line score is established the data can be invaluable in determining player readiness post-injury. For example, post-injury a player may still be protecting themselves and therefore not transmitting full power in ground force reaction. This may lead to discrepancies of up to 10-15% on either foot. Return to play protocols can be modified as a result.
Fingerprint Analysis

Fingerprint Analysis

The Viper system has the ability to create finger prints for players' based off certain drills or activities. This allows the user to track the changes in the fingerprint over time. If, for example, the finger print drill is a typical drill done with the team a number of times a month, the user can see how this changes over time, i.e. number of accelerations increasing or decreasing. This is also valuable as a return to play protocol which can be used as a reference point when deciding if a player is ready to return or not.

Tactical Analysis Features

The tactical analysis features within the software allow for all coaches to use the software and the Viper data to objectively look at player positioning, player movement from an aerial aspect, giving coaches a truly unique perspective when assessing players performance on the tactical side of the game, a perspective that cannot be captured through the use of camera orientated solutions.

Readiness To
Train Application

The loading players experience can also be tracked using our subjective markers within the Viper System. We have a customizable Readiness To Train application which allows users to ask up to six questions of their players, all completely customizable. As well as this users can get rate of perceived exertion for a session and biomarkers such as osmolarity and saliva tests.
The readiness to train app allows players to fill in their subjective information on a tablet which when connected to the cloud will automatically download into the system.

Sports Code Integration

Within the Viper software there is the ability to integrate sports code from third parties such as Opta Sports, Prozone as well as any other XML based sports code file.

This gives coaches the ability to see tactical and in-game events alongside physiological data to identify and attribute physical stresses on the body with a players activity or decision making during an important play. Joining Viper data with sports code data brings analysis to a whole new level.

How high was that players heart rate when he missed that pass?
How fast was that player running when she missed that shot?
With sports code integration within the Viper system, you can now match physiological output with key moments in training and games.

Player Load Management



Player load and performance can also be tracked using the Viper Systems thresholds feature. This allows you to set standard or expected measures for certain players for certain training days. Once you gather some data on your players you will know what to expect from certain sessions allowing you to compare actual performance with expected performance. Thresholds are managed through our traffic light system with red for example, flagging that a player has exceeded the set threshold.
Fatigue Index

Fatigue Index

STATSports use an innovative algorithm comparing the individual mechanical response to workload, with a change in this response indicating mechanical deterioration and the first indications of fatigue. The fatigue index provides a vital alert in assuring better performance and lower injury risk.

Bar Charts

The Bar Chart presentation style is the traditional comparison format within the Viper software and allows for straight forward comparison of players outputs on one metric at a time. The format of this within the software has a separate bar chart for each metric.
Radar Graphs

Radar Graphs

The innovative Radar Graph comparison feature allows coaches a different approach in comparing both players and drills looking at up to 8 metrics. This allows for much more comparison and analysis in one simple radar graph.
